First Band Concert
This year Nathan was able to start music. It was a big choice what instrument to pick. I really wanted him to play the french horn, he wanted the sax or drums. We watched a LOT of YouTube videos to help. I went to a music store and talk to some people I knew as well. We decided to buy a cornet on Ebay for him to start on. I'm hoping that we will move up to a french horn in a few years. The beginning band performed at the Christmas concert so we were SO excited to hear them!
The kids were pretty bored waiting for the concert to begin.
They played about 4 really short songs and it was great. Mrs. Poon has SO much patience with these cute beginning kiddos. The choir sang and the advanced band played too. The only bad thing about the whole night was the parents who were just un-classy and rude. Going up on stage to take pictures WHILE the kids were performing, whooping and hollering? NUTS. It was really disrespectful. The kids were the stars!! Not their parents tonight. Good Job EMS!

it's so unfortunate there are crazy parents out there. I remember when my brothers were little, it was the same thing at every performance. I don't get it!! So happy you have a kiddo that enjoys music!!
