Ward Christmas Party

All I can say about tonight is SUCCESS.  The only thing our party tonight lacked was a santa, maybe next year?!  The Bishopric made pork loin served with bobby Q sauce and there were all kinds of yummy side dishes and rolls.  It was really really yummy. MMMMMMMM.

One of the things that makes me cringe about the ward parties is the table arraignments.  I know it may sound crazy to many, but when I walk into a room of  150-250? people and the tables are forming a giant horse shoe, with one way in and one way out, I want to run home and skip the whole thing.  This year the tables were arranged in short long rows all across the cultural hall.  Lots of space, easy in easy out ohhhh it was great.  I really enjoyed it all.

They decided to play a Christmas movie in the primary room for the kids to watch in stead of running around like CRAZY after the meal like they usually do.  It was AWESOME.  They were quiet and contained.  Its going to be a tradition that will continue for sure.

We have had the Gabbitas's visit quite a bit this year and it has been so fun. We love them so much! Cheryl just adores Clara and the boys and they will usually sit behind us in Sacrament meeting if there is a spot, just to watch all their cuteness and craziness.

It was a mad dash to buy the left over pork loin after the party!
We had to pretty much pull the plug on the movie to get everyone to leave.....that includes the bishop and his counselor!!

Merry Christmas Monica WARD!!
